I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2012 with a degree in Communication Arts, where I spent most of my time trying to convince my educators to just let me draw horses. My love for drawing and painting animals has only continued since then. I favor realism to best capture likenesses, with watercolor being my current and most likely forever medium of choice. I live in Richmond, VA with my boyfriend, our hound mix, Honey, and German Shorthaired Pointer, Pearl. I love cooking, gardening, and wine; and I’m almost always listening to John Prine.
